My stay at Tahir was a mostly pleasant experience. The hotel has an impressive ambience and feels like a mini city, with additional facilities like a salon, diners and other services on-site. My room was big and comfortable the bed was soft, the AC worked quite alright. I had an issue with the shower on the first night however, but after reporting it the next morning, it was fixed before I returned from work that day, which I appreciated. The highlight for me was the breakfast buffet. There was a great variety of food, and I enjoyed every meal without any digestive issues (which is rare for me when eating out). Overall, not the best hotel I’ve stayed in, but a solid experience.
Tahir Guest Palace is a cool hotel with clean rooms, great service, big meeting halls, and a fantastic view. The hotel is child friendly with a safe playground for kids. My kids and I are having a nice time. I recommend it for holiday and business guests.

Best hotel I've been to in Kano. Probably the best I've been to in Nigeria. Ambience is top notch, spacious and not too costly rooms, 4 separate 5 star restaurants, very large gym and plenty of parking. Would recommend any time, any day, especially for dignitaries visiting Kano for the first time.
The rooms are very big. Bit looks older also as not maintained well. Good and excellent restaurant options. Very friendly and helpful staff.
